# MGE 1.1 - Development and Deployment Decision

Determination is made about whether the AI system achieves its intended purpose and stated objectives and should proceed in development or deployment.

NIST AI RMF (in the playbook companion) has not defined MGE 1.1; however, Seclea Platform defines the relevant checks to this control requiring:

* Detailed documentation of the organisation's AI development and deployment decisions.
