10.17 - Dataset Bias Special/Protected Categories

Specify the special/protected categories and/or processes an organisation has established to monitor the bias related to these categories. Each dataset and organisation has specific relevant data related to the special/protected categories. Organisations must document all special/protected categories and how they ensure that their AI system is robustly fair.

Even though the organisation might be using the Seclea Platform for bias identification and mitigation, they still have to specify with a statement which systems are in place and what procedures are defined concerning continuous bias monitoring. For compliance, Seclea check "Bias Protected Characteristics Recorded" has to be actioned by the project lead.
