09.03 - Risk Management Measures
A high-risk AI application should identify the most appropriate risk management measures, to achieve this, the following shall be ensured:
elimination or reduction of risks as far as possible through adequate design and development;
where appropriate, implementation of adequate mitigation and control measures in relation to risks that cannot be eliminated;
provision of adequate information pursuant to Article 13 of EC AIA, in particular as regards the risks referred to in 09.02, point 2 and, where appropriate, training to users.
In eliminating or reducing risks related to the use of the high-risk AI system, due consideration shall be given to the technical knowledge, experience, education, training to be expected by the user and the environment in which the system is intended to be used.
